Brett has a 10 year background in institutional trading and research, with expertise in investment & portfolio recommendations, risk arbitrage, and energy trading. Most recently before joining Umbrella Wealth Management, he was an Associate Investment Advisor with TD Wealth Private Investment Advice.

As Umbrella Wealth Managements' in-house trading and research specialist, he is responsible for execution across the firms' model portfolios as well as the production of investment research. He earned his Level 2 CFA exam and stays current with continuing education and training. He is a graduate of the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance. Brett is excited to leverage his experience to further help clients achieve their goals as challenging market conditions evolve.

Brett enjoys spending time with his wife Lisa and daughter, Hazel. In his spare time, you will find him skiing, motorcycle camping, golfing, and wake surfing on Mara Lake during the hot summer months.
